All items sent back to our shop for repair must have a return authorization number (RA#). To obtain one of these please fill out the following form completely. Once your boat is received at our workshop our repair technicians will evaluate your boat and send you an invoice for any repair costs. Note: You must clean, dry, and remove all temporary repair materials from your raft prior to shipping it to us. If we need to do any of these at our shop, you will be billed at our shop labor rate of $60/hour and your repair work may be delayed. You must mark the outside of your package with your RA#. Any package arriving at our shop without an RA# will be opened last, and as we have time.

REPAIR SERVICES: We offer repair services for all Alpacka Raft products at the rates set forth below. Please contact our repair technicians with the form above for more details on service options.
Minimum Repair Service Charge ($60): All repair services will incur a minimum $60 charge, plus materials. This charge covers one hour of shop labor to process your boat, evaluate repair needs, and beginning repair work. Any repair work that takes more than 1 hour to complete will be charged at our general shop rate of $60 per hour plus materials. Our repair technicians will contact you with an estimate prior to performing any work that exceeds the $60 minimum. If we determine that a portion of the work is covered by warranty, we will perform that work in accordance with our warranty policy. By sending your boat in for repair evaluation, you agree to pay the minimum service charge plus return shipping.
General Shop Labor Rate ($60/hour): Our general shop labor rate is $60 per hour plus materials. We will charge this rate for all service work that exceeds the minimum repair service charge or is not covered by our set fee replacement charges.
Boat Cleaning | Drying | Tape Residue Removal: If we need to clean, dry, wash, or spend time removing old repair materials or their residue your boat will be assessed a cleaning charge at our hourly shop rates with a minimum charge of $25.
REPLACEMENT SERVICES: We offer reduced cost replacements for many parts and accessories that are not covered by warranty–either due to expiration of warranty, normal wear and tear, or accidental damage. Common replacement charges are provided below. Contact our repair department with the form above for more details on your options.
Main Valve Replacement ($60): We replace the main valve in your boat. Cost does not include a new inflation bag.
Elbow Valve Replacement ($50): We replace the elbow valve used for topping-off Alpacka Raft models built prior to 2017. We cannot replace elbow valves on seats.
Floor Replacement ($100): We usually prefer to reinforce the existing floor of your raft instead of a doing a full floor replacement. Replacing the floor adds weight to your boat due to the extra layer of fabric that remains under the tubes of the raft. Reinforcing the floor underneath the seat and feet areas still adds some weight, but you end up with a more durable floor in the high wear areas. This also allows for a full floor replacement if needed in the future – we can only replace the entire floor on a boat once.
